WOJCIECH ROCŁAWSKI

Wojciech Rocławski has been a German advocate (Rechtsanwalt) since 1999, currently entered in the roll of lawyers in Berlin, and a Polish legal adviser since 2003, entered in the roll of legal advisers in Warsaw. Mr Roclawski is entitled to represent Clients before all courts in Poland and in Germany (with exception of German BGH).

Mr Rocławski is specializing in the commercial law, with particular reference to commercial companies and contracts law. He provides advice on transactions of the M&A type, project finance, acquisition of companies, trade in shares as well as mergers and demergers of business entities. He arranges business transactions, conducts negotiations and has wide experience of matters relating to business practices.

Mr Rocławski is actively involved in providing legal services in respect of large projects and advises entrepreneurs on their current legal problems. He handles cases in the area of competition law inter alia involving abuse of dominant market position and agreements restricting competition. He also provides legal aid services in the area of the law of combating unfair competition and unfair trade practices.

Mr Rocławski is a general partner in the Law Office RGW Roclawski Graczyk i Wspolnicy Adwokacka Spolka Jawna with its seat in Warsaw.

Thanks to the knowledge of the German, Polish and European law, Mr Rocławski is involved in many complex international transactions where all these legal systems are applicable. The Clients receiving the legal assistance provided by Mr Rocławski are active in many sectors of economy, in particular in chemical business, logistics, energy, media or telecommunications.

Wojciech Rocławski is a graduate of the Law Faculty of Freie Universität in Berlin, member of the Berlin Bar Association, the Warsaw Association of Legal Advisers and the German Bar Association (DAV).

Mr Rocławski is a lecturer at the college Institut für Umweltmanagement an der ESCP Europe Wirtschaftshochschule Berlin.

PIOTR R. GRACZYK

is an advocate.He completed his legal training and passed professional bar examination in December 2005, being entered in the roll of lawyers in January 2006. He is legally empowered to represent clients in lawsuits before all courts in Poland.

Mr Graczyk has long-standing experience of broadly understood economic law, and in particular economic criminal law. Mr Piotr R. Graczyk represents highly specialized companies in penal proceedings in cases involving combat against unfair competition. In addition, he provides legal aid at the stage of preparatory and judicial proceedings to companies aggrieved by white collar crimes.

PROF. WOJCIECH CIEŚLAK

Advocate

is an advocate practising his profession since 1997. He completed his legal training as a prosecutor (1992) and before being called to the bar he pursued his career as a prosecutor.

Professor Wojciech Cieślak represents clients in complicated criminal cases at the stage of preparatory and legal proceedings.

Mr Wojciech Cieślak, PhD, is an associate professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk, holder of the Chair of Law of Criminal Proceedings and Criminology. He is the author of numerous scientific publications on criminal proceedings and substantive criminal law.

Since 2011, he has been a member of the Scientific Board of Research Centre of the Bar and of the Arbitration Court at the Gas Industry Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw. He is a co-author of the Criminal Law System – “Penalties and punitive measures. .”. Professor Cieślak is a member of the International Association of Criminal Law (Association Internationale de Droit Penal).

ANNA PORĘBSKA, LL.M.

Adwokat

She graduated summa cum laude from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw with the master’s thesis on “Monitoring of media ownership concentration in the EU law”. She also completed journalism and communication studies at the Kolegium MISH of the Warsaw University (master’s thesis on legal aspects of a press libel). A graduate of the School of German Law of the University of Warsaw. During her studies, she held a scholarship at the Universities in Bonn, Hamburg and Saarbrücken. As a DAAD scholarship holder she completed the LL.M. studies in German law at the University of Bonn where she defended her master’s thesis on “The concept of a work in German, Polish and European copyright law” under direction of Prof M. Leistner.

Until now, she has been gaining her professional experience at a German law office and as a trainee at the RGW Law Office in 2010.

Her interests focus on the intellectual and industrial property law, press law, competition law and European law.

MARCIN BIERŁA

is an advocate trainee of the Bar Association in Warsaw.

He graduated from Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw with the master’s thesis on “Selected Issues Concerning Unfair Competition Crimes in Polish Criminal Law”, which was written under the guidance of prof. dr hab. Małgorzata Król-Bogomilska.

He has been working at the RGW Law Office since 2014.

His interests focus on the unfair competition law, economic criminal law and sports law.

Advocate

is an advocate qualified to act as a substitute in legal proceedings before all courts in Poland.

He has more than twenty year’s experience as an advocate. For four years, he was a Polish legal adviser in Libya on the construction of a power plant in El Homs. The range of interests of Mr Stacewicz includes in particular the issues of business fraud. He provides professional legal aid at the stage of preparatory and legal proceedings. He is the head of long standing of a team of inspectors at the District Bar Council. Mr Roman Stacewicz is a patron of cultural and social initiatives.

JAROSŁAW POSTÓŁ

Tax advisor

is a tax adviser. He has been put on the list of tax advisers under number 00311 and has been practising the profession nearly 20 years. Primarily, he deals with issues of tax optimization, takes part in processes involving transformation of commercial companies, represents business entities before tax administration authorities and in proceedings before administrative courts.
